Mecca sightseeing

Salam everybody,
A new day of our field trip to discover something new, this time it was a tour around sacred Mecca. lots of known and unknown places has been discovered by this trip.

The Shah Bandar Mohammed Al-Suwaidi and the mountain of Rahma appears from behind 

 Masjid Al-Khaif - where more than 70 prophet prayed in this area. 

Mina: one of the holy sites in Hajj - in front  

 Zubaidah wells: the lady who watered millions of pilgrims for hundreds of years.

 Zubaidah wells: wife of Harun Al-Rashid spent all of her fortune (more than 1.3 million golden dinars) 1200 years ago to bring water 40 kilometers away 

 Oldest Islamic site: Masjid Al-Baia'a (allegiance mosque) where 12 people of Yathreb promised prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) for Islam and protection. 

 Masjid Al-Ijabah (The asnwering mosque) where our prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) asked Allah for three things, and Allah answered him for two. 

 Jabal Al-Noor (Hill of Illumination) : the 640 mountain where Gabriel revealed for prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) for the first time and recite first verses of Holy Quran. 

 

 The grave of Khadeeja (may Allah be pleased with her) first and most beloved wife of prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).

 Masjid Al-Jinn: where Jinn used to come to listen to prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), as some of them converted to Islam 

 The huge expansion of Al-Haram. 

 after the long trip, Team decided its time for lunch.
