Mangrove Tree Planting

On this trip we served all humans by planting tree saplings in the mudflats on the coast.
As we ventured out to the mud flats, we were overtaken by this boat of angry men:
They told our guides that is was a Chinese Prayer Day and nobody would be allowed out to sea.  Plan B:
Raft up.
Turn around and head the other way.
Land on a dry mud flat to plant the Saplings!

We planted 55 new mangroves!  A hot and hard working day to do something for the environment!

Kellie's Castle

After exploring our caves, we went on a treasure hunt at Kellie's Castle.
Students had to find clues around the castle that led them to secret rooms where our guides would give them the next clue card.
When teams found themselves victorious, they cooled off from the heat by chilling!
It was time to head home on the bus!
Where we could enjoy the views that Malaysia has to offer:

Spelunking and Treasure Hunting in Malaysia

Today students started out the day exploring some massive caverns.

Half way through students liked tired and we thought perhaps they wouldn't make it to the surprise at the end!
They snapped out of their funk and continued into the abyss, and then . . .
We found ourselves in an underground creek:  a cold creek!
The further we went, the greater the challenge!
And then we arrived at the end, where a giant water fight erupted!

Mountain School

Getting energy for our day of school.
After a wonderful BBQ lunch, we all enrolled in Mountain School.
With our training complete, and safety equipment fastened, we began the hands on experience.
After getting to know our skill, we started for the high ropes!
And the highest ropes!
The reward at the end of all the hard work and draining courage test: A zip line!
It was a great, but exhausting day!
